About Valerie Neymeyer-Tynkov
A registered U.S. patent attorney since 2001, Valerie focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, as well as related matters such as preparing freedom-to-operate opinions and design-around strategies. She has worked with a wide variety of clients, from corporate clients with multi-billion-dollar world-wide patent portfolios to individual inventors striving for their first U.S. patent. She particularly enjoys the challenge of trouble-shooting difficult cases, and loves learning about the unique and interesting inventions people devise.
Valerie counsels on patents in the pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement, medical, cosmetic, chemical, oil processing, food, biotech, life science, and other industries of the chemical and biotechnological arts.
She served as an Adjunct Professor at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, teaching International Patent Law.
Valerie is an enthusiastic tennis fan. She enjoys learning about baseball with her son, husband, and parents; watching documentaries; attending the theater; and playing mini-golf.
