About Natascia Roman
With a background in molecular biology, Natascia advises on laws and related legal strategies for companies in the food, beverage, supplement, drug and cosmetic industries. By understanding the scientific aspects of a product, Natascia is able to assist clients with regulatory and compliance needs before the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and National Advertising Division (NAD).
Natascia reviews product labels and packaging for compliance and also advises on claim substantiation for websites and other advertising such as social media, print, radio television and internet. Natascia also assists retailers, manufacturers, and distributors of hemp and hemp-based cannabidiol (CBD) products with labeling, advertising, and marketing of these products.
Prior to joining Amin Talati Wasserman, Natascia began her legal career as a law clerk at L&G Law Group, LLP, where she helped spearhead their Cannabis practice by assisting clients with the first ever round of Illinois Cannabis Dispensary applications. Natascia worked full-time while attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s first class of weekend students. Natascia also is an active member of the Auxiliary Board for Lawyer’s Lend-A-Hand To Youth, a mentorship and tutoring program that helps at-risk youth.
When Natascia isn’t working, she’s busy chasing after her two daughters and rambunctious dog, baking, or eating dessert. Natascia loves traveling with her family, and has a goal of traveling to every country in Europe.
