Ivan Wasserman serves as the firm’s Managing Partner and for over 25 years has been helping food, drug and cosmetic companies of all sizes develop products and create and execute marketing campaigns that are both legally compliant and effective. Prior to joining Amin Talati Wasserman, Ivan was the managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office of a prominent national firm. Ivan regularly represents clients in matters involving the FDA, the FTC, State Attorneys General, the NAD and class actions. Among other categories, Ivan is known for his leadership in the regulation of products intended to impact the human microbiome, serving as counsel to the International Probiotics Association and being actively involved in the Global Prebiotics Association, and even performs at industry events as the world’s best (and only) “Probiotic Comic.” He has been included in “Best Lawyers in America” from 2007 to 2022 (he has not made any similar list for comedians).
