Ryan Kaiser is a Partner in the intellectual property practice at Amin Talati, working primarily with clients in the food and beverage, entertainment, fashion and apparel industries. He advises clients in trademark portfolio management, audits and strategy, as well as trademark and copyright procurement and licensing. Mr. Kaiser counsels clients on the development and enforcement of U.S. and international intellectual property rights, and is actively involved in the prosecution and licensing of U.S. and international trademarks. Mr. Kaiser also plans and implements effective trademark policing and enforcement strategies to ensure the security and value of his clients’ rights.
Mr. Kaiser focuses a substantial portion of his practice on intellectual property dispute resolution, including trademark, copyright and false advertising matters. He has extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all types of intellectual property and commercial disputes in both state and federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Kaiser also regularly represents clients before various administrative agencies, such as the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), the NAD, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the International Trade Commission (ITC) and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Mr. Kaiser consistently obtains favorable results throughout litigation and at trial. Mr. Kaiser also has a proven track-record of obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods such as arbitration and mediation.
Mr. Kaiser also assists clients in negotiating, structuring and drafting agreements and commercial contracts. In addition to commercial contracts, Mr. Kaiser has extensive experience drafting licensing agreements, and is an active member of the Licensing Executives Society (“LES”).
