Rakesh M. Amin is a Partner at Amin Talati. Mr. Amin practices Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), U.S. Customs, Drug Enforcement Act (DEA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Pharmacy law, and related Federal and State regulatory and litigation matters. Mr. Amin regularly provides legal counsel regarding food, drug, cosmetic, medical device and biotechnology laws, including various product approval and pre/post marketing requirements, good manufacturing practices, advertising, labeling, health claims, import/detention issues, inspections, regulatory enforcement and complaint matters. Mr. Amin also provides legal counseling to pharmacists, physicians and pharmacies, including retail, wholesale, internet and compounding pharmacies.
Mr. Amin also practices patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, internet and unfair competition law. His practice includes the prosecution, maintenance and licensing of intellectual property, as well as intellectual property and false advertising litigation. Mr.Amin litigates patent and trademark infringement and unfair competition matters in federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Amin has spearheaded over 20 federal trademark infringement cases on behalf of clients throughout the country on both sides as plaintiff's and defendant's attorney. Mr. Amin also practices heavily in contracts and business litigation.
